Certified Paralegal
Kristi Naranjo, formally of Nebraska, has lived in Phoenix since 2004. She has been with Sloma Law Group since 2012. She obtained her Associates Degree in Office Technology with Legal Office Emphasis at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte, Nebraska, where she was also an active member of Phi Beta Lambda and the recipient of the Business Student of the Month Award. She went on to study court reporting here in Phoenix where she obtained her Certificate of Completion in Court Reporting Theory – Scoping from GateWay Community College. She then went on to attend Phoenix College and obtained her Certificate of Completion in Paralegal Studies. It was during her time there, where she received the 2014 Maricopa County Bar Association (MCBA) Paralegal Division Scholarship. Following her graduation, she attended Rio Salado College and obtained her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. In 2019, she obtained her Certified Paralegal (CP) certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
Kristi has been an active member of the MCBA since August 2014 and was also elected the 2019 President of the MCBA Paralegal Division. She has served as a Director, Scholarship Committee Chairperson, President-Elect, and President. Kristi enjoys volunteering her free time to the following organizations: Special Olympics of Arizona, Homeward Bound, Child Crisis Arizona, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Andre House, St. Vincent de Paul, Arizona Helping Hands, Salvation Army, Tim Huff Pro Bono Golf Tournament, and the Arizona Humane Society.
